The Dove Trust is always for looking for volunteers to help in a varied number of ways. To serve in the tuck shop on quiz nights, to help at numerous fundraising events throughout the year and even to sell quiz tickets twice a year to family and friends.
The trust has a database of “Friends Of The Dove Trust” where people pledge to give between 10 –20 hours per YEAR. Whenever help is needed an email is circulated outlining the job specification, time and help required and volunteers just sign up for a specific event.
Could you be a volunteer for the Dove Centre?
We are always looking for help in a variety of ways and if you could dedicate just 20 hours a YEAR, which is less than 2 hours a month or any spare time, we want to hear from you. We need help on youth club nights in the coffee bar, help on working parties with light gardening around the centre. Are you a joiner or electrician? We always have small jobs needing attention and then there’s help putting up our marquee at fundraising events. Oh, and we are on the look-out for cake makers and vegetables peelers for fund raising events, serving on our village book stalls, so can you help with any of the above?
